Everyone needs to eat! Yes, we are a native plant nursery, but we also require sustenance, so we grow that too. Here are some pics of the veggie garden and some canning adventures. If you pay attention, you'll notice a fair bit of natives amongst the crops ;)

Everyone lives in my veggie garden. If I cannot grow something because it keeps getting eaten (I'm looking at you cabbage loppers!), then I just don't grow it. I don't get too worried about aesthetics, but I have found that more flowers = less insect pests. I love native and non-flowers in my vegetable garden. The pollinators seem too as well!
